Saturday Haturday – Del Mar Fair edition

In early 2019 there was a discernible trend of conservative voices being deplatformed on various social media sites such as YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. While its impossible to prove that there was any concerted effort behind this on the part of Silicon Valley, it did have the effect of putting conservative dialog on the web at risk. With more and more established voices (that all had large followings) being silenced, it became increasingly hard for dialog, and memes, to reach the online populace.

So, what are you going to do when you can’t meme as effectively on the web?

One option is to bring your message offline and into real life. That is exactly what I started to do when I began to wear my Trump and MAGA gear in public every weekend in a campaign I dubbed #SaturdayHaturday.

Each Saturday I would advocate for President Trump, the MAGA agenda, and conservative principles, just by being a visible supporter present in different public settings. I really believe that its important for conservatives to be visible in the public sphere and I hope that others will chose to be more visible as their individual circumstances permit.

On June 22nd I visited the Del Mar Fair in San Diego rocking the MAGA hat that Don Jr. had signed for me at the Montoursville PA Trump Rally.

Note that in the tweet below I was so new to the game that I didn’t even know that I had to reverse selfie images before posting them.
